Tell me

Isn't it pitiful, to have no best friends in this world, not even one?

Or am I just too naive to believe in the idea of having one?

Somebody said I will be disappointed with the world and the people around one day. It is not worth it.

Cranky updates

Another twelve days to the start of finals, and another eleven days to the nasi lemak party at Winnie's place. Less than twenty five days until I go back home again. So cool. It's such a nice day today, because it's raining. This is probably the second time it has rained since I reached last three months ago. The first time was yesterday.

Now that I am accumulating fat and glycogen storage, I am looking forward to the trip back home to accumulate more. Other than that, I can imagine myself sitting in front of the tv watching channel 333 until dinner time, rush out for dinner and come back for 333 again. I so miss my Chinese and Hokkien series. Although I have copied some from my friends here who seem to have loads, but it's still not the same. Perhaps all the movies I copied are those with Kevin Cheng only.

So much for being happy about my last lecture yesterday, my marks so far is only at average compared to the other Ozs. Explains why I should be studying the shit out of me for the next twelve days. Okay, that is about all the crap this time. Yesterday I heard somebody said, 'It's okay to be sad, you are human anyway.' But.

Who the heck wants to be human?!

York

Hi there. Early last month, we went for stargazing at York. It is fairly an empty town, just one road straight up and down. That is the whole of York. But because it is situated on top of a hill, it is a good place to lookout for shooting stars. The day we went, sunset was at 5.40pm and we managed to spot three shooting stars by 9pm! All in all, everyone was happy and satisfied with the trip. It was quality time spent together.

P/S: Ever heard of the phrase "Shoot for the moon and if you fail you will land at the star?" Now that I come to think of it, there is a scientific discrepancy to that. Because stars are actually further than the moon isn't it?

Vending machines

How many times in a month, do we pass by a vending machine?

Is it not correct, that we see vending machines in almost every civilised area?

How often then, do you find yourself standing in front of a vending machine for a full five minutes and yet still cannot decide which button to press?

Hmm...now that I come to think of it, it is often difficult to make up our minds about simple things like choosing iced lemon tea over coca-cola; what more bigger things like a career or marriage.

But that is not exactly my point.

My point is, more often than not, while somebody is struggling to decide in front of the vending machine, is it not always the person waiting second in line that is even more frustrated? Imagine having to stand behind a person who takes his own sweet time evaluating his options!

Madness.

Moral of the story - when standing on a forked road, decide fast. Think about the people who cares about you and make up your mind. Life's too short for so much dwelling. Move on.
